Strange black ring seen floating over Disneyland

Anyone who knows me knows that I'm obsessed with Disneyland (I have copies of the original Haunted Mansion blueprints framed and hanging on my wall). So when I saw this story making the rounds over the past few days about a strange black smoke ring seen floating over the Magic Kingdom back in May of 2015 I knew I had to investigate this.



Watching the above video you can see a large black ring floating in the sky somewhere near the Finding Nemo Submarine ride (you can hear the "Mine. Mine" of the seagulls in the background). As the object floats in the air you can hear several people voice their concern and one even asks if they should ask a cast member (Disneyland employee) what it is. Finally after a minute or so black ring dissipates.

Definitely interesting. It appeared to be some sort of smoke ring, but what caused it? Alien spacecraft going to light speed (maybe it was the Millennium Falcon since Disney owns that now)? Some speculate that it was some sort of wormhole to another dimension while others said it was proof of the government manipulating the weather. Curious, and a bit skeptical, I decided to dig further. And as luck would have it I found another video at Disneyland published on the same day as the  previous one (May 20, 2015). It seems whatever it was, it was obvious enough to get people's attention.



Both of these videos were shot at night, which had me thinking. I started digging some more and came upon another video showing the black ring, but this time in January 2016. And once again shot at night.



As I was watching this other video, craving both a churro and Dolewhip, I heard the person recording the video say it was windy. And it hit me. Nighttime is when they do the firework shows and the World of Color light show (worth waiting an hour to see) in the parks. I was there in December of 2015 (as well as Oct. 2012 and May 2014) and all three times I saw World of Color and during the show they make use of fire and the pyrotechnics are arranged in a circular space. This has to be what was recorded in the above videos. Since World of Colors is in California Adventures, those in the original Disneyland park and not familiar with the show may not know what these smoke rings are from. Even if they did they still are a bit unnerving. Disneyland is known for it's immersion. There are no newspapers, radios or Tv's, or anything else that would bring the outside world in. Walt Disney wanted it that way he was so set on people being drawn into his park. So seeing a giant black smoke ring floating over the park could seem unnerving to some. Me, I'd probably not even see it as I would riding the Haunted Mansion for the 20th time.

So sadly it wasn't a wormhole or Han and Chewie heading to KashyyyK for Life Day. Just the aftermath of some pyrotechnics.

Central Valley UFO sightings for the first part of 2016

As I write this it is June 6, 2016 and that means the year is almost halfway through already. Given that it's been a while since I've written anything and I'm currently in the midst of research I thought I'd browse the California UFO sightings on the National UFO Reporting Center and see if I could find anything in the Central Valley. And as usual I wasn't disappointed. I was able to find a few sightings going back all the way to the beginning of the year. The most interesting of them is the one that occurred in February in Fresno. I'd love to be able to interview this person. Their report is interesting to say the least.

I should note that I haven't edited any spelling or grammar of the posts. This is how they were submitted to the NUFORC.

Triangle objects near Kingsburg, CA.

The objects were flying in unison for the majority of the time they were viewed. They flew side by side from east to west over the 99 freeway just before the Kingsburg, CA city limits. The two objects were in site for approximately 2 – 3 minutes. 

As I stopped to look, the objects flew from the 10–2 o’clock position then disappeared. The night was clear, no fog. The lights were a constant white glow. They did not change colors or flicker.

02/04/2016, Fresno, CA, Doughnut, 4-5 min, hovered, then landed super quick in front of vehicle, huge round craft, brown/gold, vanished

Mr. X Documentary File # 00701 THE CRAFT This is to document the factual events that occurred on or about 02Apr16, at or about 1:40am, in Southern California in the city of Fresno. The occurrence was witnessed by, and is conveyed by sworn testimony equivalent to, and with all judicial authority, as stated under oath by the signed witness, Mr. X. There are several items preceding File #00701, including and limited to; one drawing of Object ABC articulated by Mr. X in the presence of a close kin. After explanation to kin about Object ABC, Mr. X was asked by kin if he could draw, or recite details of Object ABC. Mr. X did articulate the main features of Object ABC on an old small paper bag. That image was then destroyed. There is a second document articulated by Mr. X detailing the occurrence encountering Object ABC.

As Mr. X was exiting the freeway into Fresno, California, using GPS from his phone as he navigated to his destination. The GPS on the phone he was using began giving false readings, and performing out of its normal functional character. Mr. X attempted to adjust the GPS as he drove on the off-ramp from Freeway 99 into Modesto, CA. About 50 to 100 feet from completing the exit ramp, Mr. X saw a strange thing seemingly hovering off to the left of the exit over-pass. As he began to focus on the object, the object seemed to flip, or slip, or shape-shift, landing in the middle of the road, on top of the over pass, directly in front of Mr. X’s vehicle. He stopped the vehicle before running into the object.

Mr. X stopped the vehicle, and tried to comprehend the sight of the huge craft, and make sense of what he was seeing. He tried to wake his children, and co-passenger. One 16-year old son sitting in the front passenger seat, one 14-year old son sitting in the rear passenger seat on the left side, and one female 18-year old female passenger sitting behind the driver’s seat. All passengers were asleep at the time of the sighting. Mr. X tried to wake everyone up, and even shook his son sitting next to him. Mr. X began to speak aloud thinking that someone may be awake and listening, “what is it? Look at this you guys. What do I do? I don’t understand. What am I supposed to do?” He asked. When no one responded, he tried once again to wake his son, then decided to do something he thought might be stupid. He thought that he couldn’t leave this moment without being absolutely sure that what he was seeing was real, and with no obstruction between his own eyes and the strange object. (He didn’t want to wonder in the future, because he knew he was seeing something that he never had seen before.) He stepped out the vehicle with one leg, and stared at the huge object, with one hand on the door as he stood straight up. He looked at the object for about what seemed to be 7 to 11 seconds, only looking into the vehicle for a split second at his passengers, and asking if they could wake up, then looking back at the object. Just then a vehicle horn honked and when he looked back, he noticed there were two vehicles stopped behind him, and a third pulled off to the right. The Third car was the vehicle that was honking. At first, Mr. X thought that they were honking at him to get back in his vehicle before the strange craft did something to hurt him. (like he was crazy for standing out in front of the craft like that, so close.) Mr. X looked again at the craft as he got back into his vehicle, and as he clasped his seat belt, the huge craft just vanished in the plume of faint smoke or gasses, which quickly dissipated. The Thing that Mr. X is calling smoke, or gassed, can a! lso be called a mist, and even visible fumes, or a cloud of something. This action of the gasses had a visual effect something akin to a visible fume, without a smell, and was all around the craft.

Mr. X then began to proceed the remaining 15 yards, or less on the off-ramp to the light. He continued to look for the object, and look at his GPS to find his way. The GPS still did not give correct magnetic north, flipping and changing routes sporadically. He drove from memory, until calling his friend that he was going to visit, and having the friend guide him to his friend’s home.

Mr. X pulled into his friend’s driveway in about 8 minutes after that. As soon as Mr. X passengers began to awake, he began talking about the Strange Craft. The first thing he said to his friend after saying a brief “Hi.” Was “I just saw an Alien Space Craft”. The friend just thought he was joking, but he wasn’t joking at all, and as Mr. X began to walk, he lost control of his legs, and became weak. The friend had to hold Mr. X up and assist him in regaining balance. The passengers, Mr. X, and the friend all entered the home, and went out back to sit in a rest area of the home for a moment.

The Craft was huge, Brownish-Gold, with tints of Green, Red, and Lots of Black. The texture was Hexed, or X / cross hatched, with some kind of braces running vertical along either side curving with the surface of the craft from top to bottom. The braces were of the same color, and were about three and a half lanes apart, on either side from the center where I was. The craft was about 50 to 60 feet high, and obscured at the top and sides with the strange black cloud, or fumes. At the bottom of the craft, about a foot and a half off the ground was pitch black, where the outline of the craft could be seen as it hovered close to the road. The craft did block the view of anything behind it, and the street under it. The craft made no sound, and had no smell. Just an eerie silence. Mr. X did get out of the vehicle, and look at the craft with his own eyes, and he did have glasses on so he could see the craft very clearly.

The craft did appear from hovering off to the left of the freeway, and did move very quickly (impossibly quick), and stopped on a dead stop in the center of the roadway. The craft did vanish, with the gas or smoke leaving a few seconds after the craft vanished. The roadway became clear and lit, and the yellow center, and white lane lines became visible all the way across the overpass, where Mr. X was to drive.

This is the sworn testimony, and statement of Mr. X, who is identified yet requests to remain anonymous for as long as possible. The events described within this report are true and accurate to the best of my recollection, and in in no way fabricated, or made-up. I swear to what I saw, and I am MR. X. I have no understanding for what I saw, and I know that the nature, and actions of this strange craft was not of anything that I have seen on Earth.

I hope this report helps, as I was asked to document the events of the evening on which I saw this Strange Unidentified Craft.

White lights in Fresno sky.

I was looking south, and noticed what I thought was a bright star or planet in my peripheral vision above a large tree. Turning to look south-southwest, I noticed that the light was not one but two lights, and they were traveling parallel to the horizon, in an apparent western direction. The lights were bright white, similar in intensity to an aircraft landing light at a distance, but no sound was noted. I called to my wife, who was standing inside the house, and turned back just in time to see the lights blink out, one by one. 

My wife did not see them.

light flashed in 3 durations moving short distance over head then dramatically accelerated and continue to flash as it traveled.

March 16, 2016. At around 9:40 pm, I had stepped out to smoke on the back patio as is typical, in my peripheral vision I saw a flash of white light at around 20 degrees from overhead in a north – west direction. I continue to watch that area knowing from past experience some satellites flash from the sun, and again it flashed as expected a little ways away from the original flash, then flashed a third time and dramatically had moved much farther away to my surprise… this thing had accelerated much faster then any fast satellite I had ever seen and in fact continue to flash periodical like skipping light on water sort of speak. It moved so fast I had to open the gate and run around to the front of the house to continue watching, as I refocused my eyes this skipping white flashing light was passing an airline on its left side about 40-50 miles away.

The direction of travel was just south of true west (~250-260 azimuth ). There was no fire trail behind as it flashed. I have seen skipping meteors before with fire trails. 

I must say, it’s the seeming acceleration that is puzzling

Fast white light moving through the sky.

I saw a light in the sky traveling from the north east to the south west. The light looked to be about the same size as the white light you see on a helicopter. The light was moving across the sky so fast that it managed to get my attention. I said to my wife who was facing me, “look at that behind you” and as she turned around the light suddenly made what looked like a 90 degree turn and dart off to the east so fast that my wife was not able to see it.

Unknown object seen on ground in Madera County as strange lights circle overhead

Browsing through the MUFON site a few days ago I noticed that they have an interactive map displaying UFO sightings based on their location. Curious as to if there was anything of interest in the Fresno area besides the typical out of focus man made aircraft that are prolific on YouTube. So you can imagine my school girl-esque excitement (shut up) when I came across a sighting that occurred in October of 2011 near the intersection of Highway 41 and Avenue 12 in Madera County. The sighting not only included multiple strange craft in the air, but some sort of craft was also seen on the ground.

The report states that a mother and her two teenage sons were driving north on Highway 41 in Madera County just north of Fresno on the night of October 5, 2011 at around 10:30 pm. As they neared the intersection of Hwy. 41 and Ave. 12 one of her sons noticed multiple (he estimated around 10) "fuzzy white orbs" flying erratically in the night sky just east of the intersection, zooming in and around the clouds. All three watched the lights for until they stopped at the intersection and made a left turn onto Ave. 12 headed west toward the Madera Ranchos. It seems the boys convinced their mother to turn back around to the intersection to see if they could get a better view of the objects in question.

Upon stopping at the intersection, the mother then made a left turn back onto Hwy. 41 and headed north again. They were still watching the lights in the clouds (I'm assuming the mother was driving half slow and craning her neck to see cause that's how I always do it when I see something strange in the sky) when, just past Ave. 12, they passed a barn on the eastern side of Hwy. 41 and noticed a large triangle shaped object in the fields surrounding the barn. The object was described as being rather large and with its "tip" pointed up. Also there were white blinking lights on each of its vertices.

I'm assuming at this point the three witnesses were spooked by whatever they saw on the ground as the report then states the mother turned the vehicle around and drove home (wherever that may be). I know that stretch of road and there aren't that many spots near Ave. 12 to make a safe u-turn, so whatever they saw scared them enough to make a quick u-turn on a busy highway.

That was it for the report. Nothing was said if there was a follow up interview done, if soil samples were taken near the barn, etc.

To be honest this one is just plain weird. I know that stretch of road, having driven it hundreds of times, and that barn is quite familiar given its high visibility from the highway. The lights in the sky could be debunked as spotlights circling around and reflecting off the clouds, but I'm not sure on that. The report states that the witnesses describe the objects as having a "star like center". If you've ever seen a spotlight you know it looks nothing like that. And what of the strange triangular object that was seen on the ground? I've read dozens if not hundreds of UFO cases over the years and never heard anything similar to that being described. It just seems "odd". That and with the addition of the strange lights seen in the sky it's just hard to say.

To sum it up I'm a bit lost on this one as to whether what the witnesses really saw was something strange or just something regular that was mistaken for something else. I'm hoping that someone else saw something, sees this article, and can elaborate on what was seen. Otherwise we may never know what was seen on that October night.

Triangle shaped UFO seen north of Fresno along Hwy. 41

It seems this video of a UFO filmed north of Fresno was making the rounds all last week. First a Canadian website was reporting on it and then one in India and multiple UFO websites out there. Watching the video several times had me perplexed. It wasn't a typical blurred out airplane on approach. So what was it? I decided to leave a comment on the person who posted the video to YouTube and see if they would get back to me.

As luck would have it, they did. A husband and wife were driving north on Hwy 41 when the husband saw a strange light near Valley Children's Hospital. They quickly exited 41 at Children's Blvd. and looped around Mesa Blvd. until it turned into Cobb Ranch Rd. It was here they got a good view of the object and proceeded to film it.

From what I was told the object wasn't moving very fast and at first it seemed to move slowly towards them before reversing its course and heading back the way it had come before disappearing out of sight.

I has asked if anyone else besides the couple had seen it and was told no. I had also mentioned the possibility of it being a medvac helicopter coming in for a landing but was told by the wife that they live near Fresno Yosemite and is familiar with what a helicopter looks like as it's nearing touchdown.

So here's the proverbial question: what was this thing? Could the witnesses be wrong and it was a helicopter approaching the hospital? I asked the witness what day and time they had filmed this and was told it was on February 14 at around 10:00 pm (maybe the aliens were going for a romantic drive?) and several phone calls have been made to Valley Children's to see if any medvacs landed around that time. I'm also going to see if I can find a number through either Fresno Yosemite or the FAA and see if I can find anything out this way. Even if I'm told nothing was in the area at that time that rules out the possibility of a helicopter. This leads it to either being some government type aircraft or aliens taking a joy ride through the San Joaquin River. If it was some government secret project, why have lights on the damn thing and fly it near a hospital? Though given the current state of affairs in DC and the lack of any common sense this wouldn't surprise me really. As for aliens, I guess it's possible. I mean Valley Children's has some advanced tech in it, maybe they were curious as to how we treat our young. Nah, I still say they were joy riding. It's what I would do if dad left me the keys to his flying saucer.

Interesting enough the witness also included this map of where they were located when the filmed the object as well as an estimate of where the object was at given some known locations and distances. I wonder if anyone else at the hospital saw this. I think it’s time to do a bit of digging.

UFO seen over Clovis in October 2012

I thought I would delve back into UFO sightings for a bit, mostly because the ghostly aspect of Fresno has been quiet as of late. I decided to check out the Mutual UFO Network's (MUFON) website as they list sightings by county and see if they had anything interesting. And as luck would have it something strange was reported in Clovis on October 21, 2012. Here's the report as it was filed with MUFON:

I received a phone call tonight from my Mother around 9:30 PM telling me about the UFO that her and my Father just saw. My parents were driving in their car, making my Dad the driver and my Mother the passenger. As they were heading WEST on the streets of Eighth and Pollasky my Mother told me she noticed a bright orange snowflake/star shaped UFO hovering around above a Catholic church(Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church). She told me this occurred around 9:10pm or so. These streets are located in a neighborhood so when they came to a stop sign my Mom pointed the UFO out to my Father who then looked and saw the same bright orange UFO who he also described as being bright orange especially being against the night sky. My Mom said the object was just hovering over the church for a little bit. But my Father became scared and drove a little down the street aways from the object. My Mother was not scared but intrigued by the sighting and told my Father to stop on the side of the street. She told me they were both looking at the object from inside the car pulled over on the side of the street. When they were parked looking at the object my Mother said the UFO started slowly hover towards their car and then became dim in color but was still slightly visible with a more transparent shade of orange. My Mom kept her eyes on the object as she said it started moving away in the opposite direction of the moon (East). At the time they were the only ones driving on the road but then another vehicle turned on the street from Minnewawa onto eighth and when this happened my Mother said the UFO disappeared. When the UFO was visible my Mother also tried to tell my Father to take a photo with his cell phone but my Mom said he was so shocked he couldnt sum up the courage. Both my parents are devoted Christians and to get this phone call from my Mom really took me by surprise thats why I felt I had to report this myself since my parents arent technologically inclined as me with using computers. I was bummed though that they didnt get a picture.

My first inclination was to think that this was another Chinese lantern mistaken for some sort of aerial craft. But the description of the UFO is different than the characteristics that a Chinese lantern portrays; the lanterns usually drift up slowly as they are carried aloft by the wind currents. This hovered over a church and then moved towards the witnesses' car before disappearing. Lanterns don't hover, trust me, seeing that I've seen one myself (and misidentified it as a UFO). So what was seen over Clovis that October night? Perhaps Fresno is the UFO hotspot that some claim it to be.

I was recently talking to a friend (whose name I won't reveal to keep their privacy) recently and the subject of UFOs came up. Turns out they had a sighting in Clovis on April 1st of 2009. I asked them to write something in their own words and this is what they sent to me.

I can understand why some may not believe my story when they see the date of this post, but I promise you, this entry is completely real.

The story begins with me and my boyfriend (at the time) spending our last day together. He picked me up around 19:35 so that we could drive around town and enjoy each others' presence. While we were driving North on Clovis Ave, between Dakota and Ashlan Ave, we spotted these strange flying objects (at 19:37) moving east. It took about 2 minutes for them to be right in front of our view from when we first spotted them. Eight to ten bright, and silent objects flying surprisingly fast, and rapidly flashing white lights (that changed colors to red, purple, blue, yellow, and green). They were in a 4-2-4 formation; 4 on top, 2 in the middle and 4 on the bottom. We immediately pulled over in the parking lot of the Clovis Recreation Center. We sat there for 7 minutes, staring in awe. We failed to have any type of media equipment suitable for capturing the moments that were happening. The objects then, 2 at a time, began to separate and flew faster than the rest (going towards the east hills/mountains). At that same time, we noticed an airplane flying in the sky. We could quickly tell, due to the red and green slow flashing lights and the noise it made. After, we drove towards the hills/mountains to try to catch up to them. We were not fast enough, but we did see them disappear.

I have no reason to doubt this person's account, I know them and trust their word completely. So the question has to be asked, what did they see? The multi-changing lights couldn't be a normal aircraft. Plus they noticed a conventional aircraft in the sky and had something to compare it to. It was definitely something that wasn't ordinary, but if it was of this planet or from another that isn't for me to say. Hopefully by posting this others that have seen the object will read this and they can add to the story.

Was a rogue rocket launched off the LA coast?

On the afternoon of November 8, 2010, numerous witnesses in the Los Angeles area saw what appeared to be a rocket launching several miles off the coast. Calls to the local military bases yielded no information as none were claimed responsibility for the launch. The FAA didn't know of anything either and were mum on the whole subject.

The local CBS affiliate aired some footage they had taken aboard their helicopter. Even NORAD, the North American Aerospace Defense Command were unable to offer any details to what happen.

But then the Pentagon released a statement Tuesday stating:

Pentagon officials were more confident Wednesday that video of a condensation trail in the sky off the coast of Southern California was made by an aircraft, not a missile, a spokesman said.

“There is no evidence to suggest that this is anything else other than a condensation trail from an aircraft,” Pentagon spokesman Col. Dave Lapan told reporters.

Lapan declined to state definitively that the Defense Department believed the trail was caused by an airplane, but he said there was greater confidence that that was the case because more information about the incident had been analyzed since late Tuesday.

He would not go into detail about the new information.

The video footage, shot from a television news helicopter just before sunset Monday, of what looked like a missile set off fierce speculation about a rogue launch or a secret government test.

Now I know this sounds like the government is covering up something. Hell even I figured it was the military doing a show of force since the President is in Asia right now. But then I came across this page that shows regular airplane contrails that under the right atmospheric circumstance can look like the exhaust from a rocket. Now I can't for certain say that's what this was, but it looks pretty damn similar. Though I imagine the conspiracy theorists out there will say it was a rouge missile or something, but I highly doubt that's the case.

Did a UFO crash near Fresno over the weekend?

There's been a few stories circulating over the last few days of a reported UFO crashing in the mountains north of Fresno and that it was some sort of top secret military craft and it was somehow linked to a rumored underground base underneath the Fresno Air National Guard base at Fresno Yosemite International airport that is said to connect to NORAD in Colorado.

Jeffrey Gonzalez of the Sanger Paranormal Society and a state director for MUFON (the Mutual UFO Network) was able to shoot some video of what he claims to be the mysterious craft in question. In the video below you can see several lights in a triangular formation with a flashing strobe in the middle (an anti-collision light found on most aircraft?). Unfortunately it's hard to make out what the object is and there's nothing in the shot to compare it too for size reference.

Not really sure what to make of on this story. There's no mention of it on the MUFON site nor it's sightings database. Nor was there any mention of it on the National UFO Reporting Center. There's only mention of this story on a few blogs of the story and a YouTube video.

I'm doing a bit of research myself on this story. I've already contacted the California State Director of MUFON to hear what they have to say. I have several contacts who have worked at the Air National Guard base over the years and I want to see if they have ever heard of any rumors of an underground base.

This is one of those stories that's too interesting to dismiss too quickly and I'll post updates as I get them.

Strange lights seen in Los Padres National Forrest

While camping in the Los Padres National Forest in southern California, two campers witnessed something they could not explain. The witnesses stated that around 3:00 am they awoke to the moon setting behind a mountain ridge. As they noticed this they also saw a strange formation of lights in the southwestern sky. She then woke her boyfriend, who is the one who filed the report, so he could see them as well.

He describes them as one large bright light in the center with two smaller lights on either side and two smaller lights on the top and bottom. The lights were stationary for around ten minutes.

Both witnesses weren't able to explain what they saw, but thought it might have been some sort of rocket launch from a nearby military base.

MUFON report: CA, July 24, 2010 - Three lights in Southern Californina Sky

My girlfriend and I were camping at Upper OSO campground near the Santa Barbara Ranger Station in the Los Padres National Forest.

That night, we we had both commented on how bright the moon was, so that had been on our mind.

At approx 2:00am, my girlfriend awoke and noticed that she couldn't see the moon anymore.

While she was taking a few seconds to look for it and realize that the moon had gone out of our view behind a ridge, she also saw an interesting combination of lights in the sky Southeastern sky and woke me up to see it also.

There was one larger bright light in the center with two smaller and equal lights on either side and two slightly smaller lights on the top and bottom. The top and bottom lights were on a skewed axis, so all five lights together looked like an off angle cross (see second image).

All five lights were brighter than any star in the sky. To each side (horizontally) there were slightly expanding (like cones on each side) rays glowing outward. The lights appeared static, at least for the 10 or so minutes we looked at it. We got a few pictures with a decent point-and-shoot digital camera, but it was through our tent mesh.

We had no clue as to what they were, although I did mention to her that in that direction was Point Mugu and Point Hueneme. Since it wasn't moving relative to our line of sight, it's possible that it could have been moving away from us, i.e. some type of rocket launch.

Great Britain releases hundreds of UFO related files

Britain recently released hundreds of classified so-called "UFO files", one of which included a letter by Winston Churchill where he had ordered a cover up of a UFO encounter that occured during World War 2 between a UFO and a military pilot.

The National Archives are publishing the files that were investigated by the Ministry of Defense and they span over several decades and contain numerous witness accounts, sketches, and other classified documents.

One report from 1997 contains an account of several "sonic booms" and a mysterious plane crash in northern England. No wreckage was ever found in the area that it was reported to have crashed in.

One has to wonder how many classified documents the United States' Department of Defense has on record and if they ever will release any of them. Given the secretive nature of the government in the last several decades, I'm not so sure they ever will.

Strange lights filmed over Bakersfield on 8/4/2010

Not really sure what to make of these lights that were filmed over Bakersfield lately. I'm going to rule out the typical Chinese Lantern sightings as the objects don't drift like the lanterns normally do, and the color of light is different than what the lanterns usually are.

I was reading about this on the Above Top Secret forums and someone suggested radio controlled airplanes. This could be a possibility, but given the distance from the camera to the lights, both the planes and source of lights would have to be rather large. I'm going to dismiss the idea of some sort of experimental military aircraft. The nearest air base would be Edwards, but I really doubt they would be testing experimental aircraft over Bakersfield (though a F-117 did crash nearby in the 1980's so I wouldn't rule it out completely). As of right now, unless more video surfaces, I'm going to have to say these are nothing more than radio controlled airplanes doing some night flying.

UFO spotted over Huntington Beach

Not really sure what to make on this one. The video is blurry at some points, and the object in question is far away so it's hard to make out any detail. In the first part of the video it looks like the object is either flashing lights or it's pulsating. Though this could be the sunlight reflecting off the metallic surface.

I don't think it's a plane as the shape isn't similar to one. And even at that distance if it was a plane, you would be able to make out the wings and fuselage. Though in the latter half of the video it reminds me of the large mylar balloon that was used in the balloon boy hoax from a few months ago. The only other explanation is that something was launched from Vandenberg AFB, and it's a booster rocket of some sort.

Whatever the object is, it's one of those rare daylight sightings that is hard to explain what it actually is.

UFO reported near Lemoore Naval Air Station

On August 8, 2009 a witness reported seeing several strange lights in the sky near Lemoore NAS as they were driving north towards Fresno County. They saw the lights from a distance and described them as if they were dancing or moving in a circular motion. It appeared as if there were two lights per craft, though the witness states that they were unable to make out the craft itself.

The witness continued to watch the craft perform it's strange manuevers. Now here's where it gets interesting (because seeing strange lights dancing in the sky isn't weird enough) and I'm not adding anything that wasn't already stated in the MUFON report. The witness stated that they felt the UFO's were extraterresterial in orgin and they were waiting for them and wanted to put on a show. The witness opened their passenger side window and waved at the craft. They then stated the lead craft then turned on another light and trained it directly on them. After doing that the two craft appeared to join together and left the area.

What the report does not say, and I'm curious about, is if there was any missing time. Basically missing time is what happens when sometimes a UFO interacts with the witness and even though it feels like a minute has passed by, they look at a clock and it's an hour or more. What makes me question if this happened or not is the incident with the light. There have been numereous UFO reports of someone seeing a UFO and a bright light shines down on them. The witness then loses conscienceness and then awakes perceiving only a few minutes have passed when in fact an hour or more has. This is the typical abduction scenario right here.

This is all speculation on my part really. As for the lights the witness saw, who can say really. Given the fact that it was near Lemoore NAS one has to question if it was some sort of military exercise and nothing out of the ordinary? Perhaps the lights were nothing more than helicopters. This could possibly explain the somewhat erratic pattern that the lights were moving in. And the light shining down on the witness's car could have been nothing more than a searchlight from the helicopter (though why a helicopter would shine it's light onto someone is another question). Whatever the case may be, the witness believes they saw something weird that night.

MUFON report: two craft...with lights on each end....i did not see any craft only lights..

while driving north on hwy 41 in Kings county north, close to Fresno county line and about 10 miles south of Lemore NAS... I saw light as i was driving north in my car and those lights looked from a distance to be dancing and moving in a circular fashion... flying vertically and 'dancing' with each other in a circular fashion...lights i saw were two of them on each ufo and the color was there...one on each side for each ufo.... they would dance around in vertical fashion and move herky jerky in a circular flight path....
not a smooth flight path but quick movements and vertical to horizontal etc and back and forth...etc. awesome....
In conclusion, i feel that the ET ufo were waiting for me and put on a show for me at the time..I opened the window on the passenger side and waved to the lead craft. As soon as i waved to the lead craft the lead craft turned on another lite in the center of the craft and it was a large circular white light, pointed directly at me. I smiled and greeted the craft with my meditation. The two craft then left the area. They seemed to join together and flew off north or up toward the NAS. They became one light and flew away.
the whole experience lasted about two minutes...

It's a UFO! Oh wait, it's a satellite. Nevermind.

Late last night I was helping my grandfather irrigate our 40 acres of vineyards. As we were driving along I was staring up at the sky as it was a moonless night (around 11:15 pm) and the stars were out in multitudes. As I was looking to the west I saw what I thought were two stars rather close together that looked out of place when one star started to move and increase in luminiousity only to fade out after a few seconds. I assumed it was a satellite, but wasn't quite sure.

A bit curious as to what I actually saw I jumped on the internet and looked up satellite sightings and came across what are called Iridium Flares. There is a group of satellites in orbit called the Iridium Satelite Constelation. They are a group of communication satellites that provides both voice and data coverage for satellite phones. Each satellite has three large antenna about the size of a door and are highly polished. Occasionaly one of the antenna reflects sunlight back down to the Earth and that is what causes the flare.

After a bit more research I found a website called Heavens Above and they offer information on how to track objects in the night sky, from planets and comets to satellites. After entering my location I was able to determine that I indeed did see an Iridium satellite. The actual time was 23:11:15 on July 1. Here is the link to the actual infomormation, though I don't know how long it will be available.

So this had me thinking. How many people have seen these and thought and possibly reported these as a UFO. Hell even I wasn't familiar with an Iridium Flare. If I hadn't assumed it was a satellite I would most likely have reported it to the Nation UFO Reporting Center. I decided to search YouTube in hopes of someone had filmed one, given the fact that they are easily predictable. I got lucky and found a video showing something similiar to what I saw.

I am definitely convinced now that what I saw was not a UFO, but just the reflection of sunlight off a satellite's antenna. I checked the Heavens Above website and there is supposed to be another sighting tonight (July 2) at 23:05:19, this time to the east (here's the link for more info). I'm going to try to get some video of it if I can. But it shouldn't be that hard for anyone to see it as long as there isn't much light pollution around you.

Witnesses see large bright object fall out of the sky in Tulare County

Two witnesses were driving on Road 222 in Tulare County in March 2006 around 9:00 pm when the driver noticed a bright object in the East falling from the sky. The way they described it was as if the moon had "suddenly fallen to the Earth". They further described the size of the object as the size of a dime held out at arm's length.

As it fell it changed colors from a brilliant white to an amber color before disappearing behind the Sierra Nevadas. The witness said as it was falling it appeared to be on fire and they expected to hear an explosion but never did. The witness asked their father if he had seen the same object and he confirmed that he did.

As they continued driving they scanned the radio stations for any mention of the object but didn't hear anything. The witness also states that they believe Area 51 in Nevada may somehow be involved as the object fell in the general direction of the military base.

MUFON Report: an object fell to earth east of my house

my father an i were driving south on rd. 222, it was around 9:PM, i noticed a bright object out the driver side window directly east of us,i looked up and saw a round bright light falling to earth.it was as if the moon had suddenly fallin to earth.if you held a dime out at arms length this object would barely be covered by the dime, this thing was huge.i couldn't take my eyes off it.i watched as it fell, and it began to change froom a brilliant white to an amber color.just before it vanished behind the sierras ,it seemed to be on fire, i could see flames comming from the top of it.i watched and was expecting to see and hear a large explosion,but nothing, not even a flicker did we see after that.i looked at my father and said, did you see that,dad answered yep, sure did.i listened for any radio reports ,but never heard a thing.my question to you people is, did any one else report this objet to you.any body traveling east on highway 198 just east of visalia calif,and due north of exeter at that time, couldn,t have missed seeing this thing, it was impossible to miss it.one thing is for certain ,somthing very big hit the ground that night. i might mention, area 51 is in that general direction to where this thig feel.

Another V shaped UFO seen in Northern California

The recent wave of UFO sightings in Northern California continues, this time in Oakland. On May 28, 2010 a V shaped UFO was filmed around 10:00 pm.

The video looks similar to the Fremont video shot in December 2008, but I think these are separate craft flying in a tight formation. If you look at the lower leg, the spacing of the white lights is different than the top leg. Still, whatever these craft are they are moving at a high rate of speed and in a tight formation.

If they were conventional aircraft you would see a strobe light, but not on these. My theory is that it's some sort of terrestrial form of aircraft, albeit it a some sort of secret one.

UFO seen over Fresno on May 25, 2010

The first object in this video, a red light, is what's reported to be the UFO and seen over Fresno. According to the witness it was filmed at about 5:00 in the morning on Friday, May 25, 2010. Whatever the object is, it is definitely moving as you can see it pass behind several pine trees that are in the foreground and even changes direction mid-flight.

At around the 3:55 mark you do see another object, but it is a conventional aircraft (despite the observations of the person recording the footage) given the blinking strobe light and the stationary navigational ones.

It's hard to discern what the object is. It's highly unlikely that it is a plane, as the only light that is seen is a red one, and it is blinking. Aircraft do have red and green navigational lights, but they are always on, never blinking. A balloon of some sorts is also unlikely given the object changes direction. Given that the object was seen in early in the morning it's highly unlikely that there were many witnesses. What the object is I cannot say, but I can say it definitely wasn't an airplane.

Strange things seem to be flying in the air throughout California. Hopefully one day soon there will be a good piece of footage to explain what they actually are.

some sort of flying craft.

Two California witnesses report watching "strange looking objects" in the sky on May 13, 2010, when one of them came close enough to photograph, according to testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The reporting witness stated that his "niece, whom was behind me, was able to snap a picture of a V shaped object. "

No town name was given in the public portion of the MUFON report.

The following is the unedited and as yet uninvestigated report filed with MUFON. Please keep in mind that most UFO reports can be explained as something natural or manmade. If California MUFON State Director investigates and reports back on this case, I will release an update.

CA, May 13, 2010 - Unidentified V shaped object hovers above us.

I and my niece had been watching strange looking objects when we noticed one of them flying in our direction I decided to shine my laser light not at it but fairly close to it then it slowed down flew closer to us and then stopped. I somehow lost sight of it after shining the laser but my niece whom was behind me was able to snap a picture of a V shaped object. I did not realize that she had this picture until recently.

Triangle shaped UFO seen over Los Angeles on May 10

A California witness reported a triangle-shaped UFO with 6 lights flew over Los Angeles on May 10, 2010, according to testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The witness said the object was visible in the sky for about 5 seconds.

The lights appeared to be the color of the moon. The object then seemed to "rotate or tumble" and was soon gone as it moved south.

Strange triangular shaped craft seen over Fresno

Not really sure what to make of this video. It was shot on May 3, 2010 in Fresno and as you can see from the still shot, there is a triangular shaped craft with three red lights at it's points. The craft is silent (though at the end of the video you do hear and see a plane, but it's a different configuration than the object seen at the beginning of the video). No MUFON report was filed and I'm trying to find out where the video was shot. Hopefully I can dig up some more information on what this object actually is.
