I have indeed seen many bad/fatal accidents over these years. However, I can not report any unusual sightings.
I too was told the story of the "Lovers Leap" mountain by my grandmother. Her version had it an Indian woman jumped off the mountain to her death in the 1800's when her fellow Indian lover was killed in some kind of confrontation with men traveling Mr. Firebaughs toll road. We were busy so we could not leave earlier not until midnight. By that time 1982, I did not hear much about the Pacheco Pass because we lived in Fresno and did not travel much toward the North. By the time we reached the pass, it was around 2:30 am, before we reached the cliff where the Indian Massacre happened, the air suddenly became so dense that we could not even breathe. And everything started becoming so dark, I could not even see my hand even though I tried to look at it. That was in summer, the month of August, the sky was supposed sparkling with stars and the air should be light and fresh but it was not. Then I saw a light more like a halo like light. It was getting bigger and bigger coming down from the cliff. I looked up to see what was going on with the light then I saw a giant figure of an Indian in his warrior clothes with painted face and a big ax. From the distance from my car on the road to the cliff, I should see the figure small enough less than 10 inches from perspective. But no it was so tall and big like I was seeing a giant in front of me. My husband freaked out and slammed on the brake. At that moment both of us and our little who was sleeping on my lap went to unconciousness. I did not know how long we were out. WHen I woke up from the sleep?? it is already morning and we still were driving on the pass. I asked my husband what happened? why are we still driving on this road. It was morning already. We came here last night. I did not believe that it would took us more than 4 hours to pass highay 152. I MY husband answered tiredly: I did not know what happened but when I woke up I was still driving and we were still here. There was also what looked like a red reflector which made me think it was a bike, but who would be biking in the middle of the road with no light? I had to swerve to make sure I didn’t hit them and almost lost control of my vehicle. They had come out of nowhere. It may be unrelated, but I had also seen strange lights in the sky a bit before. It was like a really bright shooting star but it was rapidly flashing on and off.Kaihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12656856502678961831noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3194877593098306762.post-62504380657536146312021-04-19T12:23:11.989-07:002021-04-19T12:23:11.989-07:00My wife and I were at casa de fruta she saw a wome...My wife and I were at casa de fruta she saw a women with a white dress she stared have this sad feeling Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12818056149693967590noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3194877593098306762.post-61890186482879786072021-02-07T04:00:58.301-08:002021-02-07T04:00:58.301-08:00Seen this before when I was 12 yrs with my dad Seen this before when I was 12 yrs with my dad Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06709551956699112466noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3194877593098306762.post-18992415858565144872020-12-28T19:29:18.282-08:002020-12-28T19:29:18.282-08:00At about mid night returning from Santa Clara to L...At about mid night returning from Santa Clara to Los Banos, driving east in a mini van I saw a huge whitish or bone colored animal, the size of a Shetland pony cross inches in front of my windshield. It appeared to move from drivers side right. To my left, would have been the guard rail. You can imagine how high & far that Mt. Lion would have needed to jump. I was going about 55 miles per hour, It felt I barely missed hitting it. It was so close as to actually be surreal. In real time, considering the speed I was traveling, I should have made contact with the animal! I felt nor heard nothing. It disappeared into the dark, as quickly as it came.
Perhaps it was an enormous bird. But never have I seen anything that huge, nor fast in the sky, night or day. I felt nor heard, no impact. It flew from drivers side where I sat, over left. I thought it must have been a very powerful mountain lion, jumping across the roadway. It was huger, then what I know CA Mountain lions to be. No sooner did we pull over when a man came from behind a fence and bushes wanting to help us. His name was Levi and he was a very nice man. He told us that there are a lot of paranormal occurrences that happen there and people break down and have to pull over right in front of his cousins house there on the highway. So I call my brother and his girlfriend for assistance. They pull up behind us and as their car was sitting idling with the emergency flashers on the inside dome light started to fade and then flashed bright. After that the dash lights dimmed and then everything went out. They tried to start the vehicle and the battery was dead. They jumped their vehicle and we decided to leave our boat at this kind strangers home and we went into San Jose where my brother lives and my husband and my brother got a tire and headed back to where our boat was. As my brother pulled up to the same spot his headlights dimmed and they came back bright and dimmed again and came back bright. He left his truck on while they changed the tire on the trailer so they had the light from the headlights. As they were getting ready to leave my brother got back into his truck and all the dash lights started to flicker real fast and then went back to normal. So we have three vehicles in the same night that were affected at the same location. Yeah I would say there are some weird things that happen on that stretch of the highway. As I am writing this story I get a phone call from my brother saying that he found Levi's number and was going to call him and thank him for that night and to tell him that we found these stories about the same stretch of highway his cousin lives on and when someone answered the phone there was static and my brothers phone started to flicker just like his headlights and then it hung up. Goosebumps!!!DWatershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01037165889239414446noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3194877593098306762.post-71035744768167850792019-03-29T11:41:03.829-07:002019-03-29T11:41:03.829-07:00Years ago driving from Sac to Monterey I went over...Years ago driving from Sac to Monterey I went over Pacheco Pass, and I saw a car broken down on the side as I was coming down the hill. I felt bad for not stopping and was giving myself a hard time when suddenly I saw a priest walking down the right side of the road. He was wearing a black dress-like robe, and it reminded me of that character from SNL back in the 80s, Father Guido Sarducci. I figured this was a sign that I had to pull over and help. When I pulled up he looked old, with his face all wrinkly like I remember the homeless guys living under Monterey Wharf looked, his clothes (robe) looked like he had gone through some serious roughness, and he looked mad. When I asked him if he needed help he said something, but I couldn't understand. I told him they might hassle him for walking along the road, and then he turned to look right at me and spoke clearly: "So you're trying to help me?" I told him I thought he needed a ride, and he asked me if I had seen a woman walking around. I told him no. I thought this was strange since it was an odd place to take a walk, but I wished him luck and started again onto the road. I looked back in the rearview and could NOT see him, though. I remember thinking that was a little strange because there was nowhere out there to hide, but I just kind of ignored it until years later when I was reading about the ghost in black robe up there and it hit me.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10545912457018158924noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3194877593098306762.post-23506055322491823932019-03-29T11:40:51.791-07:002019-03-29T11:40:51.791-07:00Years ago driving from Sac to Monterey I went over...Years ago driving from Sac to Monterey I went over Pacheco Pass, and I saw a car broken down on the side as I was coming down the hill. I have faith and a believer in Jesus, not only have experienced what you all paranormal, etc. But I also had encounters with God. But regarding this post I will share not my experience but my cousins. Who is credible and we both have had spiritual encounters.
So one day my cousin who lived in Los Banos and I lived in prunedale at the time, my cousin would travel to prunedale and salinas back and forth weekly. One day she called me crying and crying sobbing she called me around 2 or 3 am. She was sober btw driving back to Los Banos. I said what happened cousin is everything ok it sounded like something bad happened. Now my cousin has a gift a spiritual gift. She is not a medium or witch. But a believer in Jesus and God blessed her with a Gift you can say. Not always the things youll see are sweet and beautiful. Mind you I dont know any history at this time of that area though i lived in californa all my life. She said I saw what looked like people killing each other on the side of the highway dressed like in the olden days. I saw them fighting and killing each other she then described she what looked a portal, if you dont know what a portal is its a way are circle usually that is pretty much a door to hell, and she saw demons dragging the bodies to hell she saw fire. It was so terrifying hearing that. But it was so detailed and undeniable. It was crazy! She kept crying. And crying we talked about it more. Not to come off as preachy but we went through some crazy things in life and dont want leave any of you in fear. What was nore trippy, because i believed my cousin without a doubt. I am a book reader, so i went to barnes and noble one day and happened to find a book on scary california theres a page there about pacheco pass and it was pretty much what my cousin saw but she saw it way more.
My point is this like i stated of above i dont want to come as preachy in a mean way because jesus loves you all. But we live in a world where the spiritual world is hidden from us. We only see the physical. But theres a whole other world that exists. Youll start to understand that that there are spirits fighting for your soul angels and demons. Angels are fighting for you to know Jesus and demons are fighting for your soul to take you there to that place most dont believe. God only permits to see to an extent. But all of these things people see are not crazy at all. Most people just dont belive in these things. But dont be afraid Christ holds all things together and he has all authority! Now everything makes sense as to why i would feel sad druving through there i would feel like crying. The feelings i would get are so sad. But as soon as you pass you feel different. And thats why theres a portal there Faithhopelovehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14254463881026142198noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3194877593098306762.post-87368322085052584342018-09-27T13:32:04.542-07:002018-09-27T13:32:04.542-07:00This is an owl. I had heard of the stories of people seeing strange and unexplainable things but had never experienced anything myself. As we were approaching the pass I tried to tell my friends about the creepy sightings but they were in the middle of another conversation and I quickly stopped before getting into details realizing they weren't listening to me.
A few minutes later my friend says "That's weird, there's a guy wearing a black cloak in that valley over there."
This sent chills down my spine and I asked him to describe exactly what he just saw. He said it was a "human-like" figure but the limbs were oddly long and lanky and he couldn't make out a face.
My first reaction was laughter, I thought he had been listening to me saying the pass was haunted and was messing with me. When I saw how confused he was I realized that he wasn't kidding at all.
I pulled up some of the stories online and sure enough others have seen the same black hooded figure along the road. We were all very freaked out, especially the guy who saw the figure. He has no interest in anything paranormal and definitely was not on the lookout for mysterious things that evening.
I know that seeing a human shaped figure doesn't seem that out of the ordinary, it could just be a person, right? The thing is there's no explanation as to why a person would be wandering around in the hills and valleys near the pass. There is nothing nearby. No houses, walking trials or anything else that could explain seeing a person in the hills.

Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3194877593098306762.post-80538154361242090932018-03-19T00:43:06.142-07:002018-03-19T00:43:06.142-07:00FFAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
