California werewolf documentary claims to have werewolf footage shot near Fresno

Over the weekend I received an e-mail from a group who had recently filmed a documentary on werewolves in California. They thought I might be interested as there is some footage shot near Fresno of an alleged werewolf sighting. In 2004 Michael Lakoma was camping and was shooting some video on his cellphone when he saw a black creature in the distance bounding toward him. In the video he says it looks like a wolf jumping but on two feet. I have to be honest, it's hard to determine what the object was given the distance and quality of the video.

Later on in the documentary shows video shot in Tehachapi, Bakersfield. What I find interesting is that all three occurrences took place in 2004. And as an associate of mine put it, why wait seven years to bring this to the masses? Why not alert the media that you found something?

I'm going to leave my opinion out of this for right now. But I have asked the creator of this documentary to put me in contact with the experts they had in it as I have a few questions of my own that I would like to ask. Though I'm curious as to what others think of this video and would encourage to leave your thoughts below as well as on their YouTube page.

I want to believe, but I think this is totally fake. Listen to the way he narrates his actions before we see the "creature." It sounds like bad acting. Like he is purposely trying to convey the idea that everything is normal, and nothing out of the ordinary is about to happen. Then he moves his camera until it is fixed on the hill, and he waits for the thing to come into view. He even kills time talking about the scenery, and about how he needs to get an idea of where he is. Sorry. This reeks of, "hoax" to me.

Regarding the post I did on Monday, I recieved an e-mail from the person who sent me the link and informed me it was indeed a hoax and nothing in it was real. I had my suspicions, but couldn't really say anything until I knew more.

Why would it be hopping around randomly and not be trying to protect its territory?

This is a hoax. There is nothing to support any of the claims. There is nothing about the death of Michael Larval. All the videos in the documentary are very started.

If you read my above comment this indeed a hoax as I have confirmation from the person who created the video verifying that it was nothing more than a project he did.

Visual witness in 18th century, when the Beast of Gevaudan lived, said she moved in leaps and sometimes standing.
When I saw this video I immediatly think of thèse testimonies.

I'v met a werewolf and they wouldn't attack unless threatened. So yes i agree with the hoax thing. werewolves try there best to stay away.

I knew it was a hoax from the beginning, besides that guy gave it away too quick by moving that camera in a highly suspicious manner and was too fast in shutting it off when he had a chance to capture it on tape for evidence if indeed was Real:-P !

I have seen one in sanger going home a round three in the morning right on Bethel Street.I was traveling North on Bethel right before 180 hwy that when it jump right in front of the truck and landed on the side of the road. It stopped and looked at us in surprise If I was going any fast I would have hit it. So as for being real you only know when it happens to you.
